What can you do about the maternity tears?

Unfortunately it does not work that way. Give yourself time to recover. Try to take your rest and try everything that has happened - and that is quite a lot - to find a place. There is a good chance that everything will recover automatically and often it happens very quickly. After a few days you will probably feel completely good again!

Be nice to yourself

Be kind to yourself and allow your body the time to recover. Nine months your body has to live to something, with childbirth as the ultimate climax. That your mind is out of balance for a moment is not surprising. Take the time to recharge your battery and do not expect miracles from yourself. After all, you have already taken care of the miracle, that is wonderful with you now.

Postnatal depression

Maternal tears belong to the family of postnatal depression, but then a very mild form. Maternal tears should automatically disappear again, if all goes well after a few days (a week to ten days). However, after a week or two, three still suffer from the dejection, make an appointment with your doctor. The sooner you pull on the phone with him, the better. So do not walk around with it. He can see what can be done about it. Maybe he sends you to a psychologist or he prescribes some medication that will restore the chemical imbalance in your body.
